Grave of the Fireflies is a Japanese anime film about a young boy and his younger sister trying to survive in Japan during World War II. A true story inspires this film. This film is set in the Japanese city of Kobe during the final month of World War II. This movie's time setting is set to run all day. The setting becomes important in this film and is described in detail in terms of sight, taste, feelings, and sound. The main characters of this movie are Setsuko and Seita. They are both brother and sister trying to survive during the final month of the Second World War. Seita is a perfect brother. He will do anything to make Setsuko, his Sister, happy.
